1. Service Overview
Daxwr is a practice journal application designed for ombre nail enthusiasts who regularly
experiment with gradient techniques at home. The app allows users to log each nail session
with a photo, the polish colors used, and a self-rating. Over time, the AI surfaces
personalized insights — including which color transitions consistently succeed, how technique
confidence is evolving, and what gradient styles define the user's personal aesthetic.
Daxwr is intended for use by adults (18 years of age or older). The app is not directed at
children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you are
under 13, please do not use this application.
This User Agreement ("Agreement") is a legally binding contract between you ("User") and the
developer of Daxwr ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the Daxwr
app, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement.
If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. User Identity & Anonymous Use
Daxwr does not offer any account registration or login functionality.
You can access and use all features of the app without creating an account, providing a
username, or supplying any identity credentials.
You use Daxwr anonymously. We do not collect any account-based identifying information such
as email addresses for identity purposes, phone numbers, or social profile data. There is no
account system, and therefore no password, recovery flow, or identity verification process.
All data you create within the app — including session logs, photos, ratings, and AI-generated
insights — is stored locally on your device. You are solely responsible for managing and
protecting this local data. Uninstalling the app will permanently erase all locally stored
data, and this deletion cannot be reversed by us.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Daxwr only for its intended purpose as a personal nail practice journal.
You must not:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application;
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the app or its generated outputs;
- Upload, transmit, or store any content that is unlawful, abusive, defamatory, obscene,
or that violates the rights of any third party;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to any systems or
infrastructure associated with the app;
- Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the app;
- Misuse AI features to generate harmful, discriminatory, or misleading content.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content or information you provide to the
app is lawful and does not infringe upon any third party's rights.
4. Content Ownership & Responsibility
Your content: Any photos, notes, ratings, or other materials you input into
Daxwr remain your property. You retain full intellectual property rights over your original
content. By using the app, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to
process your content solely as necessary to provide the app's features (e.g., generating AI
insights based on your logs). We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it
for any purpose beyond delivering the service to you.
AI-generated content: Insights, suggestions, and analyses generated by the
app's AI are provided for your personal informational use. You may use these outputs freely
for personal, non-commercial purposes. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" and does not
constitute professional beauty, medical, or commercial advice.
Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for any content you produce,
share, or act upon using Daxwr. We are not liable for any consequences arising from content
you create or decisions you make based on app outputs.
5. AI Feature Terms
Daxwr uses artificial intelligence technology to analyze your practice logs and deliver
personalized insights. AI processing is powered by OpenRouter, a third-party
AI routing service. By using AI-powered features in Daxwr, you agree to the following:
- Necessary data (such as session notes, color descriptions, and self-ratings) may be
temporarily transmitted to OpenRouter solely for the purpose of generating your
requested insight.
- Neither Daxwr nor OpenRouter stores your data after processing is complete. Data is used
only during the active processing window and is immediately discarded upon completion.
- Your photo content processed for AI insights is handled locally or transmitted in
anonymized form; no biometric or facial data is ever sent to OpenRouter (see Section 6).
- AI-generated insights are for personal reference only and may not always be accurate,
complete, or applicable to your specific situation.
- AI outputs must not be relied upon for medical, legal, financial, or safety-critical
decisions.
OpenRouter's own terms and privacy policy govern their data handling practices. We encourage
you to review OpenRouter's documentation if you have questions about their processing.
6. Camera & Image Data
Daxwr may request access to your device's camera to allow you to capture photos of your nail
sessions. The following commitments apply to all image data processed by the app:
- Local processing only: Any image analysis performed by the app occurs
on-device. Images are not stored on our servers.
- No third-party image sharing: Session photos are never transmitted to
OpenRouter or any other external service. Image data used for AI features is represented
as descriptive metadata (e.g., color names) rather than raw image files.
- No persistent storage by us: We do not retain copies of your photos.
All photos are stored locally on your device under your control.
- Revocable permission: You may revoke camera access at any time through
your device's system settings. Revoking access will disable photo-capture features but
will not affect other app functionality.
7. In-App Purchases
This app does not offer any subscription, recurring payment, or auto-renewing
service. All purchases are one-time consumable in-app purchases.
Daxwr may offer optional in-app purchases in the form of consumable virtual items (such as
coins or credits) that unlock additional AI insights or features. Each purchase is a
one-time, fixed-price transaction. You pay once and receive the corresponding virtual items
immediately.
All payments are processed exclusively through the Apple App Store. The final price for any
in-app purchase is as displayed in the App Store at the time of purchase, and may vary by
region.
Consumable items (coins, credits) are non-refundable once used. If you believe a purchase
was made in error, you must contact Apple directly through the App Store's "Report a
Problem" feature. All refund decisions are made solely by Apple in accordance with the
App Store Review Guidelines and Apple's refund policy.
We reserve the right to modify the pricing or availability of in-app items at any time.
Changes will be reflected in the App Store listing before taking effect.
8. Service Changes & Termination
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Daxwr at any time,
with or without notice, for reasons including but not limited to maintenance, legal
compliance, or business decisions. We are not liable to you for any modification,
suspension, or discontinuation of the service.
Because Daxwr does not maintain user accounts, there is no formal termination or closure
process. You may cease using the app at any time by simply uninstalling it. Uninstalling
the app will remove all locally stored data from your device.
9. Disclaimers
Daxwr is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without
warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied
warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from harmful
components. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any
AI-generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss
of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to
use the app.
Any service interruption, data loss, or malfunction caused by third-party services
(including OpenRouter or the Apple App Store) does not constitute a breach by us, and we accept no liability for such events.
10. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without
regard to conflict-of-law principles.
In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this
Agreement or your use of Daxwr, the parties agree to first attempt to resolve the matter

If negotiation does not result in a resolution within thirty (30) days, the dispute may be
submitted to a court of competent jurisdiction. You agree to submit to the personal
jurisdiction of such court for the purpose of resolving any such dispute.
11. Agreement Updates
We may update this User Agreement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices,
legal requirements, or app features. When we make material changes, we will update the
"Effective Date" at the top of this page.
We may also notify you of significant changes through an in-app notice when you next open
the app. Your continued use of Daxwr after any changes to this Agreement take effect
constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
We encourage you to review this Agreement periodically to stay informed about your rights
and obligations.
